Job description:
The Cleaning Plug is seeking a Residential Cleaner to provide top-notch cleaning services to the metro Detroit area. We are looking for a hardworking, reliable individual who is committed to customer satisfaction and pays close attention to detail.
Job Responsibilities:
- Dusting and wipes all accessible surfaces
- Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors
- Cleaning toilets, showers, tubs, vanities, and countertops
- Vacuuming upholstery, and any other dusty surface
- Cleaning all surfaces in the kitchen and bathroom
- Making beds and fluffing pillows
- Occasionally washing, drying and/or folding laundry
- Scrubbing and sanitizing all relevant surfaces
- Handling all furniture and appliances carefully
- Performs additional duties as needed
Qualifications / Skills:
- Must complete a paid trial period successfully
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Highly responsible, punctual, and reliable
- Must be detail oriented
- Polite disposition.
- Good knowledge of cleaning supplies and chemicals.
- Ability to understand verbal and written instructions.
- Ability to stand, sit, and stoop for extended periods.
- Able to complete tasks on time with minimal supervision.
- Available to work mornings and evenings, plus weekends, as needed.
- Valid Driver’s License
- Must have your OWN Vehicle that’s reliable
- Legally able to work in the US
- English speaking
- Ability to pass a background check
- MUST have own cleaning supplies
Education and Experience Requirements:
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Previous cleaning experience a plus
- Valid driver’s license

The ideal candidate must be reliable and have a strong work ethic. They must possess excellent attention to detail and be able to complete tasks efficiently while demonstrating great customer service skills.
Job Responsibilities:
- Dusting and wipes all accessible surfaces
- Sweeping, mopping, polishing, and vacuuming floors and rugs
- Emptying trash receptacles and other waste containers
- Replenishing restroom supplies
- Cleaning toilets, sinks, and countertops
- Sanitizing kitchen appliances
- Cleaning all surfaces in the kitchen and bathroom
- Clean windows and mirrored surfaces
- Dust shelves and other surfaces as needed
- Sanitizing all relevant surfaces
- Performs additional duties as needed
Qualifications / Skills:
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Prior cleaning experience strongly preferred
- Must complete a paid trial period successfully
